Which are the best Smart TVS for streaming?

By daniele

With the development of technology and the upgrade of TVs, now it is quite common that televisions are smart and have 4k. This means that it comes equipped with a smart platform.

Some manufacturers choose to use proprietary platforms, while others prefer to integrate third-party options like Google TV, Android, or Roku. No matter the case, the selection of apps is great, and the most common streaming apps are available on all platforms. If you ask me, which is the better platform to use? My answer is any one, because to select one it is important to know your personal preferences, and which one you feel is better to use.

For that reason, today we are going to introduce you to the next options:

  • LG C2 OLED

It is a high-end TV that is a part of LG’s 2022 OLED lineup, and it is available in a wide range of sizes, meaning you can get the one that suits your setup the most. It provides excellent overall performance for a variety of uses. The TV counts with the LG webOS that is easy-to-use and has a bunch of apps available to download. Also, it comes with LG’s Magic Remote, a unique remote (as you can read on the name) because it has a point-and-press feature, like a Wii remote, letting you easily navigate through the menu to open your favorite apps. It also has a mic you can use for voice control to open apps.

So, we can say it is the Best Smart TV for Streaming

  • Insignia F50 QLED

This one wins the medal for the Best Cheap Smart TV.

Even if you want a good TV for streaming but without investing a lot, you can choose from a variety. Most of them are basic, but at least come with a built-in smart interface that makes it easy to stream content. The F50 QLED is better than most cheap TVs because it displays deep blacks in dark rooms, and even if it does not have a local dimming feature like the Hisense U6H, the black uniformity is still good. It also uses quantum dot technology to display a wide range of colors in SDR and HDR, and the out-of-the-box accuracy is great, so you will not have to get it calibrated to enjoy a life-like image.

  • Hisense U8H

To be one of the mid-range price categories, the Hisense U8H is an impressive TV that outperforms any other TV in its price range, delivering outstanding visuals and a smooth, easy-to-use smart interface. It runs Google TV as its built-in smart interface, which has many apps available to download through the Google Play Store, so you are sure to find your favorite content.

Google TV can take some time to learn, but once you do, it is easy to use, and navigating through the menu feels smooth. Also, it supports hands-free voice control, which makes it easy to find your favorite content, as you can ask it to search by the name of your show or to open a specific streaming app without even picking up the remote.

And for this one is the medal of Best Mid-Range Smart TV

  • Hisense U6H

If you want something on a budget, there are plenty of low-cost TVs with great picture quality. But you will have to sacrifice a few features compared to higher-end models, but most of those are gaming features, so if you are streaming content, it does not make much difference. With all this as a description, the Hisense U6H is an exceptionally viable choice. It does not break the bank and offers good picture quality both in dark and bright rooms. It sits below the Hisense U8H, so it does not have the same premium picture quality, like the high HDR peak brightness and great local dimming feature, but its local dimming is still decent, and the HDR brightness is okay.

As a 2022 TV, it comes with the updated Google TV interface, a refreshed version of the Android TV platform on the Hisense U8H. It comes with a simple remote, and there is a mic both in the remote and built into the TV so that you can easily stream your favorite content by saying a few voice commands.

And its award is to being the Best Budget Smart TV.

  • Samsung QN90B QLED

If you are looking for the best TV for streaming in the upper mid-range price category. The Samsung QN90B QLED is a splendid TV that does not have the same perfect black levels, meaning it is not as good for dark room viewing. However, it is much better in well-lit rooms because it gets very bright in SDR, enough to fight glare, and the reflection handling is astounding.

In terms of its smart features, the Tizen platform is exceptional, and they redesigned it in 2022 compared to past versions. It now has a full-screen interface instead of just a banner at the bottom, and it is quite easy to navigate. There are many apps you can download, and the mic in the remote gives you access to Google Assistant, Alexa, and Bixby, so you can use the voice assistant feature you prefer the most.

Remember, while no TV is perfect, most TVs are great enough to please everyone.
